Privacy Policy

Effective 21 September 2026

You can use all of Plantry without an account. If you choose to sign in, we keep your name and email address and nothing else. There are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.

If you sign in

Sign in with Apple is the only way to sign in, and it is optional. When you use it, Apple gives us a user identifier, your email address — or a private relay address, if you choose Hide My Email — and, the first time only, your name. We store those three things on your Rivesa account so the app can recognise you. We never see your Apple ID password.

A Rivesa account is shared across Rivesa Inc.'s apps: the same sign-in is the same account in each of them. It is held with our database provider, Supabase.

Deleting your account

In the app: Purchases › Settings › Account › Delete account. That permanently deletes the account and the name and email held on it, across every Rivesa app. You can also write to the address below and we will do it for you.

What stays on your device

Your basket, your past orders, the addresses you save and your recent searches are stored on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database, whether or not you are signed in. We cannot see any of it. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

What we never do

The catalogue

The shop's products, prices and packaging are Plantry's own. A copy ships inside the app, and when it opens the app also asks our server for the current one. That request is a plain read of the catalogue: it is not signed in as anybody, it carries nothing about you, and it cannot write anything back. If it fails — no signal, server down — the app uses the copy it already has, so the shop works with no connection at all.

No real orders

Plantry is a portfolio build. Placing an order records it on your own device and nothing is dispatched, charged or sent anywhere. The app never asks for a card, a payment method or any financial detail.

Children

Plantry is not directed at children. Apple does not allow Sign in with Apple accounts for children without a parent's consent, and we collect nothing from anyone who does not sign in.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the version here changes with it and the date above moves. We will not quietly start collecting something this page says we do not.
